Course Overview

Our competence-based course is designed to give an understanding in hazardous area concepts for the use of electrical equipment. The course explains the protection methods from manufacture to installation, inspection and maintenance as per the requirements of the CEN and IEC 60079 standards for electrical and non-electrical equipment.
A practical understanding in the selection of equipment is covered along with the choice and installation of cables and glands.
